At Sworn English Translation (ingilizceyeminliceviri.com) we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website and use our services, how we use it and your rights. It should be read together with our Data Protection Notice issued under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
In short: We use your information only to provide translation services and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your document or contact data, nor share it with third parties for marketing. The site loads Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies for anonymous traffic measurement only after you accept the cookie notice.

- Contact form / WhatsApp: name, phone number, document type, optional notes
- Document uploads: photo or PDF copies of documents you submit for translation and the personal data they contain
- Email correspondence: the content of messages you send us directly

- IP address, browser type, operating system and visit timestamps (server logs of our hosting provider)
- Basic interaction events on the page (form open, submit) — non-identifying, used for development
2. How We Use Information
- To provide sworn / notarized translation services
- To communicate with you (WhatsApp, phone, email) and send you the price and turnaround
- To schedule notary appointments and follow up on apostille
- To issue invoices and meet financial obligations
- To improve service quality and ensure site security
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
3. Cookies
The site uses a limited number of storage mechanisms for functionality and measurement. Analytics cookies load only after you accept the cookie notice; if you decline or close it, no analytics cookies are set.

4. Third-Party Services
We work with the following third parties to provide our services:
- Calendly Inc. (United States): Appointment scheduling. When you click "Book appointment", an appointment is created on Calendly's platform and you share your name and email with Calendly. Calendly Privacy Policy
- Fontshare: Provides web fonts; your browser downloads fonts from the Fontshare CDN.
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms: When you contact us via WhatsApp, the conversation runs on WhatsApp infrastructure and is governed by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
- Web hosting and email provider: Infrastructure providers for site files and email communication.
- Notary offices, apostille authorities and courier companies: Official / semi-official parties involved in service delivery.
5. Data Security
- The website uses HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all traffic.
- Document files are accessed only by the owner, Uğur Arı.
- Backups are stored in encrypted environments.
- After the service ends, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized at the end of the retention periods set out in the Data Protection Notice.
The transmission security of documents you send via WhatsApp or email depends on the infrastructure security of those platforms.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under 18. Translation of documents belonging to minors is carried out only at the request and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
7. Data Subject Rights
To exercise your rights under KVKK Art. 11, please review the application methods in our Data Protection Notice. You may submit your request to [email protected]; it will be answered within 30 days at the latest.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page; the "last updated" date at the top applies. Notice will be given for significant changes where reasonable.
