This notice has been prepared pursuant to Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the related Communiqué on Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilment of the Obligation to Inform, in order to inform you about the personal data processed via the ingilizceyeminliceviri.com website and related services.

Depending on the content of the document submitted for translation, processing of special categories of personal data (health, biometric, criminal record, etc.) may be required. In that case, your explicit consent is required pursuant to KVKK Art. 6; refusing consent may prevent the service from being carried out.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Provision and delivery of sworn / notarized translation services
- Pre-review of documents and communication of price and turnaround
- Customer communication via WhatsApp, phone and email
- Coordination of notary appointments and apostille follow-up
- Finance and accounting (invoicing, payment collection)
- Compliance with legal obligations (sworn translator archive, tax legislation, lawful requests by public authorities)
- Security of the website and prevention of misuse
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Your personal data is processed on the basis of the following legal grounds set out in KVKK Art. 5/2:
- Art. 5/2-(a): Where it is expressly provided for in laws (sworn translator and notary legislation)
- Art. 5/2-(c): Where directly necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract
- Art. 5/2-(ç): Compliance with the legal obligations of the data controller (tax, archive)
- Art. 5/2-(e): Establishment, exercise or protection of a right
- Art. 5/2-(f): Legitimate interests, provided that they do not harm the data subject's fundamental rights and freedoms
For marketing communications and other processing requiring consent, your explicit consent will be obtained separately.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties as required by the service and legal obligations:
- Notary offices: For submission of the document during notarized translation
- Apostille authorities: If apostille follow-up is requested
- Public authorities: Upon lawful request from courts, prosecutors, the tax administration and similar competent bodies
- Couriers / logistics companies: For physical document delivery
- Financial institutions: For payment collection
- Service providers: Calendly Inc. (United States — appointment scheduling); web hosting provider; email service provider
Transfers to service providers established outside Türkiye, such as Calendly Inc., are carried out pursuant to KVKK Art. 9 either based on your explicit consent or under the adequacy/safe-transfer conditions stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Authority.
6. Methods of Collection

- Direct communication via WhatsApp, phone and email
- Document files (photos / PDFs) you upload
- Automatically during your visit (server logs, cookies)
7. Retention Periods

At the end of the legal retention period, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
8. Data Subject Rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information if your personal data has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of KVKK Art. 7
- Request that processing operations carried out under (5) and (6) be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred
- Object to results that disadvantage you arising from analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems
- Claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing of your personal data
9. How to Submit a Request
To exercise the rights listed above, you may send your request, together with documents verifying your identity, through one of the following channels:

Pursuant to the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller, your request will be answered within 30 days at the latest. Where the request requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Authority may apply.

This notice may be updated based on changes in legislation and the scope of services. The current version is always published on this page; the "last updated" date at the top of the page applies.
